The Wisconsin Association of Campground Owners (WACO) honors Veterans, EMT’s Firefighters & Police Officers on Armed Forces Day during their Heroes Weekend, May 18 & 19th, 2018. The following are WACO campgrounds that supply deals, promotions, and offers for Veterans, EMT’s Firefighters & Police Officers. Glacier Valley Campground: Veterans and emergency responders have a chance to stay at the only campground in the country owned by a woman and run by a Vietnam Vet who is a United States Naval Academy graduate. Reserve a site at Glacier Valley Campground for only $10 per night during “Heroes Weekend” by calling the campground at 920-348-5488.

Green Acres Family Campground: Heroes Weekend is dedicated to honor Americans who are serving or who have served in the U.S. military branches – the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Coast Guard. In appreciation of your service, Green Acres Family Campground will provide FREE camping to you and your family to say “thank you” for your service (must have valid Service ID, the campsite must be occupied by the service member).
SUPER Hero Weekend – big peeps and little peeps, dress up as your favorite Super Hero for our costume contest!
Indian Trails Campground: The Pardeeville EMS and Fire Departments will be here again for another fun filled day of activities including a lunch, emergency vehicles on display, blood drive, basket social, raffles and much more. Standard campsites are free if you are active in the US Military. Bring your Active Military ID and you will receive two free nights of camping on a standard campsite. Campsites are half price for active Police, active EMS, active Fire Fighters and Retired Military only. Our Heroes can help raise money for the Pardeeville Emergency District as Indian Trails will donate 50% of the Hero’s camping fee paid this weekend. Simply show a Hero’s ID to receive one free night of camping on a site, with one paid for night of camping on a site.
Lake Arrowhead Campground: 2 free nights of camping for all veterans, armed forces, firefighters, police, and teachers.
